Hello, I hope you are enjoying my page and my photography!

I have always loved taking pictures. I don’t know what it is, but I think everybody gets excited when holding a camera. I guess it is the feeling and power of capturing something unique, a special moment or a smile.

I personally love both, being in front of and behind the camera. For some reason there are people who are shy when in front of a camera. But my goal is that no matter who is in front of me when I am taking their picture, to make that person as comfortable as they can be. The trick is simple, just letting them be themselves. To me, those are the best photographs of a person.

In my life I have only taken one photography class. It was the summer of 2006 at the University of Delaware, where I learned to develop black and white photographs and other things related to photography.  So, no, even though I have taken thousands of pictures and love doing so, I am not a professional photographer. I take pictures because I love to, because is fun and because people like it.
